Last Tuesday marked the beginning of the Innovation Tournament, an 8 day competition where all entrepreneurship students compete to create value out of an everyday item. The item for this tournament is a rag.
As young, budding entrepreneurs, team M.A.R.K. chose to create bags from rags in revolt of conformity and the materialism embodied by such high-end accessory designers as Coach, Prada, and Chanel. Each bag has been handcrafted from a wide variety of textures, colors, and designs, making each product a "rags to riches" success.
Now M.A.R.K. needs your help. By creating a product line of original "rag bags", M.A.R.K. must calculate the value they made. Please take the time to look through the bags and if there is one that catches your eye, let us know by leaving a comment saying you would like to "order" that bag. M.A.R.K. obviously does not have the time or resources to manufacture a huge rag-bag offering, but by expressing your interest to "purchase" in support of their cause and class, M.A.R.K. will be able to measure the approximate value they created in this company.
Should a bag REALLY catch your eye and you are actually interested in purchasing it, all of M.A.R.K.'s rag bags will be listed for sale on eBay following the completion of the Innovation Tournament.
